The Western Allegheny Historical Society is proud to present our first speaker for 2024: John Scott. Mr. Scott of the Scott Farm on Oakdale Road will entertain us with stories of the past. His family has been farming the same property since 1789, the same year that George Washington was inaugurated! There have been seven generations of family who have farmed that very property. John has a vast knowledge of farming and also local history. Come and join us for a delightful evening of history.
